This iconic wine is marking its 20th vintage with the 2021. Produced by Boukenhoutskloof Winery, the fruit is sourced from Swartland using sustainable approach to wine growing. Syrah is the dominant variety with Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier included in the blend. It has intense blackberry & lavender aromas on an earthy nose, a powerful palate of blueberry, ripe plum and cherries. Beautifully balanced, poised and elegant with a velvety finish. 14.6% Alcohol. Pairs nicely with lamb or beef; since this is primarily Syrah and a full bodied wine, enjoy this wine with substantial dishes.
