Irish Coffee

Ingredients

  • Hot brewed coffee
  • 1½ oz Irish whiskey
  • 1–2 tsp brown sugar (to taste)
  • Lightly whipped heavy cream (not fully whipped)

Directions

  1. Serve in a mug (preferably glass)
  2. Add brown sugar and whiskey.
  3. Fill with hot coffee and stir until dissolved.
  4. Gently float lightly whipped cream on top (pour over the back of a spoon).
  5. Do not stir—sip through the cream.
